Biographical Sketch Of Leo Sachithra Danendra
Leo Sachithra danendara joined the Leo movement in year 2001 as a member of the Leo club of Mahanama College & now he is a member of the Leo club of Colombo knights & he is the charter president of the same club.Leo Sachithra completed his primary & secondary education in Mahanama College, Colombo 3. Leo sachithra was an active student during the school times by leading many clubs & societies such as
Leo sachithra was also awarded the prestigious rank of being a college prefect in year 2005/2006.He played cricket for the college representing the under 13&15 team .He was also a member of under 15&17 rugby team. Leo sachithra joined the Leo district council as an activity director in year 05/06.Then again he was selected to the same position in year 06/07.He thereafter served as a regional director in year 07/08 & thereafter climbed up to vice district president in year 08/09.
He is the project chairman of “donate a book or a brick” one of the largest ever service project in the Leo history which helped to rebuilt the schools of South & eastern province which was destroyed in the tsunami disaster.
During his leostic carrier leo sachithra achieved following individual and club awardsInternational 100% Leo club president award
Leo Sachithra is the younger son of Mr.Ravindrapala & Mrs.Sepalika Perera. He has two elder brothers. Leo sachithra is currently following A Diploma in hospitality management affiliated to the university of science & technology of Salzburg, Australia. He worked at Hilton Colombo during his industrial training period.
