Clubs - District 306 C2
Leo clubs inspire and support volunteerism and leadership in young people ages 12 and up by giving them the chance to learn, grow and serve by participating in community service projects. In total, more than 144,000 young people in 139 countries are proud to serve others in their local communities and to call themselves Leos. These young community leaders are friendly, active and dedicated to creating new and exciting opportunities by participating in their local Leo clubs. Social and professional connections are an additional benefit for Omega members (age 18 and older).
There is no doubt that we require experienced leaders for our beloved motherland. One of the main Objectives of the prestigious Leo movement is to provide Opportunity to give youngsters Experience to become a quality leader with a heart. Our Mottos is Leadership Experience Opportunity. Within Sri Lanka Lions and Leo activities are divided in to 6 districts namely A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Where these districts are represented different parts within the island. We the Leos of district 306c2 are proud to say that we are the largest Leo district (in the context of number of Leo clubs) in Sri Lanka which consist more than 30 Leo clubs. As well as our district was recognized & appreciated by the Lions clubs international for the community service carried out by the district and its clubs during the past 4 years.
